First Visit to Sea World

Balboa Park

One of mine and the girls favorite places in San Diego is Balboa Park. It has tons of museums and outdoor things. We enjoyed a day walking around and looking at everything.

Concert in the park

During the summer on Sunday afternoons, Coronado has concerts in the park. Brayden and I decided to venture down there and enjoy some music and outside time. He loved dancing and also playing on the playground!

Summer in San Diego...First stop THE BEACH!

Brayden and I had the opportunity to spend the summer in San Diego with the girls I nannied for before I moved to Yuma. We had SO much fun and Brayden really enjoyed being able to play outside whenever he wanted. He definitely took advantage of the great weather. He really enjoyed spending time with the girls and being able to see family too. We spent about 8 weeks out there. We missed Zack, but he was able to come visit a couple of times.

My mom came down to visit one weekend and we decided to go to the beach. Sarah and Matt also joined us for a beautiful day on Coronado. We walked along the beach, had lunch and spent some time at Hotel Del. We had an amazing day!

1 year old!

Well, Brayden turned one on June 10th (yeah, yeah I am not good at keeping up with this thing).

He is a little walking and eating machine. He wasn't a big fan of his cake, no idea why. His birthday theme was Dr. Seuss and it was a lot of fun. His party in Yuma was great and it was nice seeing all his little friends. We also spent a weekend in San Diego celebrating too! Enjoy the pics!

Easter Part 2

I didn't want to overload the other post with pictures. It already had a TON! We blew up Brayden's pool and had to test it out. He wasn't too sure at first, but then he ended up liking it. He loves bathtime and the big pool, I just think he was a little confused on what it was.
We went to a friends house for dinner and it was really fun. Brayden enjoyed the ham, but I didn't get any pictures of it.

Brayden Bug's 1st Easter April 24 2011 Part 1

Brayden had a GREAT 1st Easter! I made eggless banana bread for Brayden and he LOVED it. Little man had a reaction to eggs so we are avoiding them until later. He also loved everything he got! My mom and Zack's mom sent him stuff and we put it all out for him on Easter morning. He made out pretty well. He got quite a few snacks, some jammies, books, a CD, snack traps, sippys, and some toys. He also got a POOL! We needed something as it is starting to get hot here in Yuma. He really enjoyed opening up his eggs also. What a great first Easter!

Easter Egg Hunt April 23 2011

Housing had an easter egg hunt for the kids and we decided to take Brayden. He obviously didn't really know what to do and the eggs went FAST. Daddy helped him get a few. He did enjoy playing with the plastic eggs though. We hung out at the park for a while after also. It was a PERFECT day. Brayden also met the Easter Bunny! He just looked at him like what the heck are you!?

We had a lot of fun!
